The Chloe S. (Clean
Hydrogen light On-site Energy System)
The Chloe S. uses the same
patented Dolphin 1 technology as our commercial products only scaled down for home use. It
is lightweight, weighing only 30 lbs. when empty. It is easy to use and can be transported
anywhere. No electricity is needed to make hydrogen and it only requires about 10 minutes
a week of maintenance. The Hydrogen made by the Chloe S. is 99.98% pure. Once the Chloe S.
is started, the energy releasing process lasts for 7 days.
The Chloe S. can be used in any home to save money by:
Heating Water
Using the Chloe S.
to generate space heat
Using hot water to heat a
home is 30% more efficient than an electric forced air heating system and in most parts of
the country much cheaper. It is done by using a Hydronic Furnace.
Hydronic furnaces are air handlers that resemble forced-air furnaces. In these
systems, a liquid-to-air heat exchanger replaces the conventional combustion chamber in
oil and gas furnaces, or electric resistance heating elements in electric furnaces.
The Chloe S. and a domestic hot water heater can furnish the hot water that circulates
through the heat exchanger. A fan forces air over the heat exchanger coils. Heat transfers
from the hot water to air, which is then transferred by ducts into the house.
This system is much safer and
more efficient than an attic natural gas furnace with air handler.
Hydronic furnaces are gaining popularity because of the reduced heating load required by
today's energy-efficient houses. In super-insulated houses, the DHW heater can effectively
heat both domestic water and the living space. Using the hot water heater for space
heating utilizes the heater more fully, which increases the efficiency of the system.
If you already have a natural gas or propane furnace in your home, a simple conversion kit
can be installed to run the Chloe S. You can then use clean burning H2 to save money
running anything in your home that runs on gas, including the gas dryer and the gas stove
or fireplace. This is very safe and surplus fuel from the Chloe S. could be stored in
small tanks for use in winter or operate a gas barbecue or a lawn mower.
